Fried French Toast Bites

How to Make Fried French Toast Bites

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yields: 36 bites

Level: Easy

This recipe is for late mornings and when you are on the go. You can eat it out of a bowl or even a cup. Since school is almost back in session you  might need this for a sleep-in breakfast recipe. When I tried this loved it, so I hope that you have the same experience.

4 eggs

1 1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 cup sugar

2 1/2  teaspoons cinnamon

4 slices of bread

3 cups Frosted Flakes Cereal

In a mixing bowl add the eggs, milk, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt and whisk together. Cut your crusts if you please and then cut your slices into small squares. In a food processor, process your cereal until grainy. Coat your squares of bread in the egg and milk mixture and and then fry in a frying pan until it turns a golden brown. Immediately place your squares in your cereal so it can coat the square fully. Place these on a plate and cover in syrup.
